“My Heart – The Story of Broken and Healed” is Careen Carlton’s first collection of poems, poems drawn not only from the heart of the author but of the others’ as well. Rummaging through camouflaged human emotion, the words leave the reader with a memory that is familiar. Careen invites us to see, examine and experience the love and desperation, ecstasy and emptiness, fulfillment and honesty in each word. Each piece has a depth that makes understanding our own emotion a little clearer. In her own style, She manages to capture what is often so difficult to express, almost as if she is there with us. “My Heart – The Story of Broken and Healed” is Personal, only an emotional snow-cone can pen.

THis is a strong message that is so needed today. We may hear it all the time from the pulpit, but it is so refreshing to hear the message in music, and the music we love. Nigel goes through the genres of calypso, ragga soca, reggae-ish style. I personally love I’m Ok. Have a listen here http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/nigellewis4
